When to use?
Star Rating can be used by respondents to rate answer alternatives in questions using stars. Should be used when only one of multiple response alternatives can be chosen.
How to create?
To create a Star rating, you click the option in the menu on the left hand of the screen, it will be added as the last question at the bottom of the page you are currently editing. You will be given an option to specify the question with a description or heading. This field can of course be left blank.
To change your question, click “Double click to add text”.
To change the scale, double click on the text “min” left of the scale or “max” to the right of the scale to enter you own desired presentation.
How to customise?
Required: Click “Required” if you want the response of this question to be mandatory.
Number of stars: Click “Number of stars” to select to add more stars, or remove stars. Star rating only works with 5-7 stars.
Weight: Click “Weight” to provide you with the the possibility to weight the response alternatives. Weighting the response alternatives gives you the ability to draw different types of values in your report, for example an average value and the standard deviation of the answers.
